The Jordan Tourism Board is pleased to announce that Petra has topped a poll of ‘must see’ overseas attractions according to a recent survey conducted by Virgin Travel Insurance.

The Treasury at Petra topped the league table of ‘must see’ overseas attractions to visit beating competition from the Grand Canal in Venice, the Masai Mara game park in Kenya and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The survey interviewed 1267 adults and asked them a series of questions on what their ‘must see’ and ‘most disappointing’ tourist attractions were in the UK and abroad.
